Abingdon Theatre Company, in association with Paul Boghosian and Jim Kierstead, Executive Producer, will present a special one-night only concert of Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera, a darkly comedic original musical done with a great deal of heart, with libretto and concept by Elizabeth Searle and music by Michael Teoli, on Monday evening, February 4, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street).

This month, the popular theatre podcast Broadwaysted released It's A Broadwaysted Life!--a theatre-filled parody of Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life! written by co-host Kevin Jaeger and featuring original songs written by Jaeger and composer Jason Pomerantz.

Award-winning voice actor Lori Alan (Pearl Crabs on 'SpongeBob SquarePants,' Diane Simmons on 'Family Guy,' Pixar's upcoming Toy Story 4) joins the cast of Villain: DeBlanks' debut performance at the new Birdland Theater. She replaces previously announced Tony-nominee Brenda Braxton, who has withdrawn due to a schedule conflict. The one-night-only performance on Wednesday, December 12 promises an evening of laughs and surprises, and all proceeds will benefit God's Love We Deliver.

SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will close on Broadway Sunday, December 30, 2018. A North American Tour will launch on September 30, 2019, playing dozens of cities across the US and Canada, including Los Angeles, Nashville, Rochester, Washington DC and West Palm Beach.

Villain: DeBlanks makes its Birdland Theater debut with a one-night-only benefit performance on December 12. This star-studded event promises to be an evening of laughter and shenanigans, with 100% of proceeds to benefit God's Love We Deliver -- the non-profit organization which cooks and home-delivers nutritious, individually tailored meals to people in the New York City metropolitan area living with severe illness.

Opening Night was Wednesday, October 17th for Keen Company's fourth musical, the first NY revival of Adam Gwon's acclaimed Ordinary Days, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. Summer: The Donna Summer Musical has announced that a limited number of $40 same day tickets will be available via a digital lottery for select performances starting May 25th.

New Dramatists, Tony® Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, just honored Tony®and Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington at its 69th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute. Washington, currently starring on Broadway in The Iceman Cometh, directed by George C. Wolfe, received New Dramatists' 2018 Distinguished Achievement Award. Tributes to Mr. Washington and performances were presented by three-time Grammy Award-winner Branford Marsalis with bassist Noah Jackson, Tony®Award-winners George C. Wolfe and Stephen McKinley Henderson, Constanza Romero (August Wilson Estate), and Pulitzer Prize finalist and New Dramatists resident playwright Kristoffer Diaz (The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity).

Now you won't have to stop dancing after the curtain comes down on SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical. Beginning tonight Bond 45 in its new location next door to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), will host an after-party after every performance of SUMMER. The celebration will continue downstairs at Bond 45 with dancing to all of SUMMER's greatest hits and a themed menu of signature SUMMER cocktails including 'Hot Stuff,' 'Bad Girls,' and 'Last Dance.'.
