The Dramatists Guild Fund's annual Benefit Gala, titled 'STAR TURNS: Great Writers Thank Their Lucky Stars!' will be held on Monday, April 20 at the Hudson Theatre, (Millennium Hotel, 145 West 44th St). Cocktails will begin at 7:00 pm, with dinner at 7:30 pm, followed by the show at 8:30 pm.

Primary Stages concludes the 2008-2009 season with the world premiere of a comedy Chasing Manet by Tina Howe (March 24, 2009 - May 2, 2009), featuring Tony Award-Winner Jane Alexander and Lynn Cohen. They announced on Sunday that joining the cast would be Vanessa Aspillaga, Jack Gilpin, Julie Halston, David Margulies and Robert Christopher Riley.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) is happy to welcome the newest addition to their staff: Director of Development, Jessica Sadowski Comas, who brings seven years of arts fundraising experience. Ms. Comas worked in individual giving and special events management at Florida State University and the now closed Coconut Grove Playhouse. Most recently, she was Manager, Institutional Giving at Manhattan Theatre Club, where she oversaw corporate fundraising and the sales campaign for their Spring Gala. Jessica holds an MFA in Theatre Management from FSU and BA in Arts Administration from the University of Alabama (UA).

Alex, Brian Barry, Kurt Froman, Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines, Lisa Gajda, Anthony Holds, Nadine Isenegger, Mark Morettini, Kathryn Mowat Murphy, Abbey O'Brien, Hayley Podschun, Krista Saab and Eric Sciotto. Under the direction of Carl Forsman, performances began Sunday evening, October 12, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. and will run in repertory with A Body of Water by Lee Blessing for a limited engagement through November 19, 2008. The 11th Annual Project A.L.S. 'Tomorrow is Tonight' benefit gala was held at the Waldorf Astoria on October 6, 2008 in New York City. Actor Ben Stiller hosted the event, which raised money and awareness for Lou Gehrig's Disease.
