Last night, The Public Theater opened AS YOU LIKE IT, the first show of The Public's 50th Anniversary season at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park--home of free Shakespeare in the Park. Previews began June 5. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, AS YOU LIKE IT will continue for four weeks through Saturday, June 30. The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) opened the world premiere of THAT HOPEY CHANGEY THING, written and directed by Richard Nelson last night, November 2. THAT HOPEY CHANGEY THING, the first play of the 2010-2011 Public LAB season, will run through November 14 in The Public's Anspacher Theater.
