Producers of the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child announced today that Steve Haggard is now playing the role of Harry Potter and Angela Reed rejoins the Broadway company on Tuesday, May 3rd in the role of Ginny Potter.

Melbourne audiences will be introduced to both familiar and new faces in the reimagined production. Including many of the original cast, returning performers are Gareth Reeves as Harry Potter, Paula Arundell as Hermione Granger, Michael Whalley as Ron Weasley, Lucy Goleby as Ginny Potter, Ben Walter as Albus Potter, Nyx Calder as Scorpius Malfoy, Aisha Aidara as Rose Granger-Weasley/Young Hermione and Jessica Vickers as Delphi Diggory.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will once again celebrate the Hogwarts houses with four special performances dedicated to each house. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw houses are the four living and learning communities for Hogwarts students, named after the wizarding school’s four founders.

'Flight' is an experience that will stay with viewers, as it should. It's an especially poignant production in the aftermath of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, though it's also a reminder that stories like Aryan and Kabir's existed long before, and will continue to exist long after the political and military dust have settled. But Studio's production is a beautiful, clever presentation of a heart wrenching story, and perfectly captures the love, hope, and loss that drives refugees - and all of us.
