Full casting and U.S. dates for Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night are announced today. Jessica Regan will return to the role of Cathleen, having played her in the 2016 Bristol Old Vic production. Matthew Beard and Rory Keenan will join the company as Edmund Tyrone and James Tyrone Jr alongside the previously announced Jeremy Irons and Lesley Manville, who will play James and Mary Tyrone in Richard Eyre's acclaimed Bristol Old Vic production.

The last time Jane Kaczmarek acted on the Los Angeles stage, she transformed into the morphine-addicted Mary Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT at the Geffen Playhouse. Jane returns to the L.A. boards, this time in the traditionally-male role of Stage Manager in Thornton Wilder's OUR TOWN, just opened at The Pasadena Playhouse, in a co-production with Deaf West Theatre.

Quintessence Theatre Group brings Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece Long Day's Journey into Night to life as the second show of its 8th Season. The company's first modern American classic takes center stage at the Sedgwick Theater, October 4-22. Opening Night is Saturday, October 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15-$35. Opening Night costs $50. Gurney's howlingly funny canine comedy SYLVIA, a love story about empty nesters Greg and Kate, and an irrepressible mutt named Sylvia. Written by Drama Desk, Obie and Lortel Award-winning playwright A.R. Gurney (also known for Love Letters and The Dining Room), the plot follows what happens after a man going through a midlife crisis finds a dog in Central Park and brings her home without consulting his wife.

Geffen Playhouse and online theater streaming service BroadwayHD today announced a partnership to present select live and captured-live productions from the Los Angeles theater to BroadwayHD subscribers. The Geffen's current production of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Long Day's Journey Into Night, starring Jane Kaczmarek and Alfred Molina, will be the first play presented under the partnership. It marks BroadwayHD's first live stream from a U.S. theater outside of New York City.
