James Taylor Talks About Still Performing at his Age on CBS SUNDAY MORNING

Singer-songwriter James Taylor is 71 and still making music. However, he never envisioned still performing at his age and says he gets revitalized in front of an audience, he tells CBS SUNDAY MORNING anchor Jane Pauley in an interview to be broadcast Sunday, Feb. 2 (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

Brandi Carlile and The Mavericks Added to Tanglewood 2020 Schedule

Brandi Carlile makes her Tanglewood debut with a performance at the Koussevitzky Music Shed. Carlile is currently on tour following the release of her 2019 Grammy-winning album, By the Way, I Forgive You. Produced by Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings and recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, the album includes ten new songs written by Carlile and longtime collaborators and bandmates Tim and Phil Hanseroth, including 'The Joke.' Of her performance of the song on the live Grammy broadcast, The New York Times wrote, 'Carlile's vocals were robust, ragged, full of sneer and hopea?? it was an uncomplicated, genuine, cleansing thrill.' Tickets for this concert range from $18a?"$149.

Aerosmith To Perform Live At The 2020 Musicares Person Of The Year

The 2020 MusiCares® Person of the Year Aerosmith will perform live at the tribute concert in their honor, with Russell Brand as the event's host. GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge and past GRAMMY Award nominees Nuno Bettencourt, Jessie J and Kesha join the concert lineup with previously announced performers Cheap Trick, Gary Clark Jr., Alice Cooper, Gavin Degraw, Johnny Depp, Foo Fighters, Luis Fonsi, Sammy Hagar, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Emily King, John Legend, John Mayer, Ashley McBryde, LeAnn Rimes, and Yola. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director.

James Taylor and The All-Star Band To Perform At Tanglewood

James Taylor returns to Tanglewood with his All-Star Band for a performance on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 8 p.m. in the Koussevitzky Music Shed. The July 4 concert will be followed by a spectacular fireworks display over the Stockbridge Bowl in celebration of the Independence Day holiday. Proceeds from this concert will be donated by Kim and James Taylor to Tanglewood Building and Grounds Projects.

Seth Glier Releases New Single 'Stages'

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Seth Glier hasreleased a new single. Entitled 'Stages', the new release draws upon traditional roots music while adding experimental instrumentation and pop sensibility, for a unique exploration of sound. Glier has been descried by NPR as having an 'otherworldly' voice. He is set to embark on a national tour followed by a US State Department sponsored international tour as a music ambassador.
