NY Indie Theatre Film Festival Kicks Off At New Ohio Theatre

The NY Indie Theatre Film Festival kicks off its 2019 edition in one week on February 8 with the New York festival premiere of Poor Behavior, the film directorial debut by Theresa Rebeck, based on her play of the same name.

Cast Announced For New Light Theater Projects' Revival Of Yasmina Reza's LIFE X3

New Light Theater Project (Producing Director, Michael Aguirre; Artistic Director, Sarah Norris) is thrilled to present a revival of Yasmina Reza's LIFE x3, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Jerry Heymann. LIFE x3 begins performances on Tuesday, November 20 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 8.  Press opening is Sunday, November 25 at 3 PM.  The performance schedule is Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30 PM; Sunday at 3 PM. There is an added performance on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:30 PM; there are no performances on Wednesday, November 22 Thursday, November 23, and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving. BWW Review: PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at Playhouse On Park

There is something thrilling about discovering the backstory behind a treasured book, film or play. This unique type of discovery, telling the tale of Peter Pan before he became the boy who would not grow up, is being brought to boisterous life in Playhouse on Park's inaugural production of their 10th season, Rick Elice's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER.

A BLANKET OF DUST to Premiere at Flea Theater Mainstage

'A Blanket of Dust' is the story of a modern day Antigone.  The daughter of a U.S. Senator seeks justice for her husband, who has died in the World Trade Center. Her ordeal drives her to the outer fringes of society.  After struggling to establish facts that the government, the media, her family and her countrymen deny, she protests with a harrowing act of sacrificial tragedy.  The play's world premiere will be presented Off-Broadway by Delphi Film from June 6 to 30 at The Flea Theater Mainstage,  20 Thomas Street, directed by Chris Murrah.

A.R.T. Adds Sensory Friendly Performance Of Bedlam's SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, will offer a sensory friendly performance of Bedlam's Sense & Sensibility on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30PM. The performance for adults and children ages 12 and up will be specially modified for individuals with sensory needs, including people on the autism spectrum and their families and caretakers. This expansion of the theater's access performances, which include ASL interpreted, audio described, open captioned, and family-friendly sensory friendly performances, reflects A.R.T.'s commitment to providing quality arts experiences for all.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, is pleased to present Bedlam's Sense & Sensibility. Written by Kate Hamill based on the novel by Jane Austen and directed by Eric Tucker, performances of the production recognized by The New York Times as having an audaciously high energy level will begin on Sunday, December 10, 2017, and continue through Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, in Cambridge.
