Jaki Bradley will direct Tony Award nominee Gabby Beans, Tony Award nominee Damon Daunno, Emmy Award Nominee Evan Jonigkeit, and Vince Nappo in an industry reading of Kate Vozella's AI play burning falling rising Monster.

New York Stage and Film has revealed complete casting for the 2023 Summer Season, starting on Friday, July 14 and running to Sunday, August 6 at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. The cast includes Katrina Lenk, Joe Iconis, Laurence Fishburne, and many more. Learn more about the full lineup here!

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) starts its 2023 season this evening from 5-7 PM at the Falmouth Yacht Club, with a Q&A and mixer event honoring CCTP alum Sharr White (Pictures From Home).

Playwrights Horizons and MCC Theater have revealed a one-week extension of the world premiere of John J. Caswell, Jr.’s Wet Brain, directed by Dustin Wills, to July 2. 

The Cape Cod Theatre Project (CCTP) announces its 2023 Season of New Plays, running Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM ET from June 29th-July 22nd at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts. For the second consecutive year, CCTP will highlight female voices, with workshops of staged readings by Steph Del Rosso (June 29-July 1), May Treuhaft-Ali (July 6-July 8), Fernanda Coppel (July 13-15) and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton (July 20-22).

Playwrights Horizons and MCC Theater will present the world premiere of John J. Caswell, Jr.'s Wet Brain, directed by Dustin Wills. A terrifyingly inventive look at addiction's ability to transform one's existence and relationships, Wet Brain offers an American family drama that is not only freed from realism, but also, perhaps unmoored from Earth itself.

New York Stage and Film's Winter Season, running February 27-March 5, at the Marist College Manhattan location will support overlapping processes for artists developing new stories, and officially begin the tenure for their 2023 Companies-in-Residence.

New York Stage and Film announced today that Artistic Director Chris Burney will be leaving at the end of his contract in December 2022 to pursue new, professional opportunities in education and commercial theatre. Liz Carlson, who has been part of NYSAF for more than 15 years, most recently serving as Artistic Producer, will become the Interim Artistic Director effective immediately.

New York Stage and Film begins its summer season in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, July 9 and will run for five weeks to Sunday, August 7 for in-person programming that will support more than 35 new stories for theater, film and television.
