Stars from some of the most popular shows on Broadway, including Angels in America, The Band's Visit, Dear Evan Hansen, Frozen, Hello, Dolly!, The Lion King, Mean Girls, Once on This Island and SpongeBob SquarePants, gathered today at the Minskoff Theatre for the 32nd annual Easter Bonnet Competition. What were the results of this fundraising season? A whopping $5,721,879!

Pigs fly! For one-night only. A 2017 planned revival of Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly was brought to life at an Actor's Fund benefit concert Monday night!

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Rachel and Keve-Stepping off the Merry-Go-Round. FABULOUS NEWS, The Actors Fund will present a one-night benefit concert of When Pigs Fly, featuring the cast from the recently canceled production. I went to the major press event for the show and managed to secure some fab interview moments with the entire cast and some of the creatives.

Deaf West/Broadway Spring Awakening and Big River stars, AMELIA HENSLEY, ALEXANDRIA WAILES & MELISSA VAN DER SCHYFF, reunite for this groundbreaking original musical centering on a Deaf heroine, to be directed by Drama Desk nominee KIM WEILD (Fetes De La Nuit, Soot and Spit) with Artistic Sign Language by ALEXANDRIA WAILES (Children Of A Lesser God, currently on Broadway).

The Actors Fund announced today a one night benefit concert of last year's planned off-Broadway revival of When Pigs Fly, that never actually got to play for an audience. The concert, which will reunite the cast members and creative team for one night only, is set for Monday, April 9th.

Benefit concert and companion online fundraising drive to raise funds for efforts to fix New York State's cruel and unconstitutional abortion law. On January 22nd at 7pm, We Go High Singing Out for Reproductive Justice featuring some of Broadway's best and brightest voices takes place at The Triad Theatre on W. 72nd St in Manhattan.

Tomorrow, November 2nd, Feinstein's/54 Below will present A Benefit for The Jessica Rekos Foundation to celebrate the life and spirit of the six-year-old, whose life was taken at Sandy Hook School in 2012.

Lead producer Joshua Goodman (Come From Away) has announced that NewYorkRep has joined Louise Beard and Gene Fisch, Jr. on the producing team for HOWARD CRABTREE'S WHEN PIGS FLY.

Howard Crabtree's WHEN PIGS FLY, conceived by Howard Crabtreeand Mark Waldrop, book and lyrics by Mark Waldrop, music by Dick Gallagher, directed by Mark Waldrop, choreographed by Tony Award-nominee Denis Jones (Holiday Inn) and costumes by legendary nine-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Mackie ('The Carol Burnett Show'), will fly again Off-Broadway at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036) with previews beginning October 6 and opening night set for Monday, October 30.

According to the show's official announcement, Bob Mackie will be returning to New York to design the costumes for the upcoming revival of the campy musical review, Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly. The show features book and lyrics by Mark Waldrop and music by Dick Gallagher.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, February 19 with a celebration of the iconic director and choreographer Michael Bennett at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests for the February show include Ashanti J'Aria, who joins previously-announced Carolee Carmello, T.
