Tara Westwood (The Grudge) will make her directorial debut with the short film Triggered, which she also produced. Joining her in the cast are Isiah Whitlock Jr. (Da 5 Bloods), Caitlin Mehner (Dopesick), and Robert John Burke (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit).

YOUR HONOR, produced by CBS Studios in association with KingSize Productions, is based on the Israeli series Kvodo created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach. Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ninio, Mashiach, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon and Danna Stern also serve as executive producers. 

There are 89 Oscar nominees, including 25 winners, among the invitees.

The American Cinematheque announced the line-up of stage and screen stars who will pay tribute to Spike Lee as he receives the 34th American Cinematheque Award in a virtual ceremony on Thursday, January 14.  Colleagues and collaborators including Angela Bassett, Ryan Coogler, Jodie Foster, Rosie Perez, and ‘Da 5 Bloods’.

The 19th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its 2020 Shorts Program lineup. Setting a record with over 6,100 submissions, the final program roster includes 64 diverse and captivating short films from 20 countries around the globe, and features 46 world premieres, including DreamWorks Animation's new animated short, To Gerard. The short films will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs which include five narrative, four documentary, and one animation program. For the fourth consecutive year, 40 percent of the selections are directed by female filmmakers. Queen Collective by Procter & Gamble in partnership with Queen Latifah, Flavor Unit Entertainment and Tribeca Studios is back, a program dedicated to supporting gender and racial equality behind the camera. The 2020 shorts lineup is programmed by Sharon Badal and Ben Thompson. The 2020 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 15 - April 26.

Just last night, Atlantic Theater Company presented their 35th Anniversary Gala, Couples' Choice, at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue). This year, Atlantic asked a few exciting power couples to choose a song they love and their favorite musician to perform it.

Deadline reports that Quiver and Redbox have acquired the rights to 'The Lost Husband.' They will release the film in April.
