The 92nd Street Y, New York (92NY), one of New York's leading cultural venues, presents, Stefan Jackiw, violin; Alisa Weilerstein, cello; and Daniil Trifonov, piano, play Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and more on May 20, 2023 at 7:30pm ET in the Kaufmann Concert Hall.

Spivey Hall announces its 2023/24 season featuring expansive repertoires, hidden gems, and new discoveries, alongside classic performances of great historic works. This season, the first curated by Executive and Artistic Director, Katherine Lehman, will showcase fresh artistic voices, artists with Atlanta roots, and international stars who make Spivey Hall a tour destination.

Osmo Vänskä has graciously agreed to replace conductor Karina Canellakis in her upcoming appearances with The Philadelphia Orchestra on April 20, 21, and 22. Canellakis has withdrawn from the performances as she is expecting a child in May. 

On April 7–8, Donghoon Shin's orchestral work Upon His Ghostly Solitude receives its world premiere with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by longtime champion Osmo Vänskä.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) offers an exciting start to the new year with South African opera sensation Pretty Yende. The widely acclaimed soprano, whose introduction to opera at 16 was through a TV commercial, is coming to Princeton to perform arias from Gioachino Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia (The Barber of Seville) and Giuseppe Verdi's La traviata as well as Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915.

​​​​​​​Andris Nelsons, marking his ninth season as BSO Music Director, leads the Boston Symphony Orchestra in the opening concert of the 2022–23 season on September 22 at Symphony Hall. Pianist Awadagin Pratt appears for the first time with the BSO, performing a work written for him by American composer Jessie Montgomery (Rounds, for piano and string orchestra) and J.S. Bach's Concerto in A, BWV 1055.

For the first time in its history, Wigmore Hall will open the new concert season with a photography exhibition – 'Wigmore Hall:  Portraying Our People.'
