Full Cast Announced For UK Premiere Of Florian Zeller's THE SON

As the world premiere of Ishy Din's Approaching Empty opens at Kiln Theatre, the company's Artistic Director, Indhu Rubasingham, announces the casting for the UK premiere of Florian Zeller's The Son, in a translation by Christopher Hampton. Michael Longhurst directs Amanda Abbington, Laurie Kynaston, John Light, Oseloka Obi, Amaka Okafor and Martin Turner. The production opens on 26 February, with previews from 20 February, and runs until 6 April.

Jim Carter And Imelda Staunton Host Cabaret Event To Raise Funds For Kiln Theatre

Jim Carter and Imelda Staunton return to Kiln Theatre to host a one-off special cabaret event to raise funds for the theatre on Sunday, 10 March 2019 at 6pm. The line-up includes performances from Jim Broadbent, Sharon D Clarke, Michelle Dockery, Michael C Fox, Sir Derek Jacobi, Jamael Westman and Clive Rowe.

Daisy Heath Appointed Executive Director Of Kiln Theatre

Kiln Theatre today announces the appointment of Daisy Heath as Executive Director. Daisy joins the company from the Young Vic - where she is currently Lead Producer - in January 2019 working alongside Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham. Daisy takes over from Bridget Kalloushi who leaves after 6 years as Executive Producer having successfully completed work on the capital project.

With Holy Sh!t - the inaugural production in the newly refurbished theatre - in rehearsals, Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham today announces the full cast for the world premiere of Stephen Sharkey's adaptation of Zadie Smith's White Teeth - Ayesha Antoine (Irie Jones), Michele Austin (Mad Mary), Philip Bird (Des/Marc Perret/Marcus Chalfen), Ayesha Dharker (Alsana Iqbal), Naomi Frederick (Ruth/Poppy/Joyce Chalfen), Tony Jayawardena (Samad Iqbal), Richard Lumsden (Archie Jones), Karl Queensborough (Anthony /Denise/Josh Chalfen), Sid Sagar (Magid Iqbal), Amanda Wilkin (Rosie Jones), Assad Zaman (Millat Iqbal), and actor-musicians Matthew Churcher, Nenda Neurer (also Clara Jones) and Zoe West. The production opens on 5 November, with previews from 26 October, and runs until 22 December.

Eleanor Lang to Be the New Executive Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East

Theatre Royal Stratford East is pleased to announce that Eleanor Lang has been appointed Executive Director from 1st October. Eleanor joins Theatre Royal Stratford East from Cheek by Jowl, where she is currently Executive Director, at the start of new Artistic Director Nadia Fall's inaugural season and will be working closely with Nadia on the overall strategic leadership of the theatre.

The company now boasts over 1500 titles on their list, and a staff of thirteen based at their London office in Shepherd's Bush. In honor of their 30th birthday the company threw a party to celebrate.
