The Nash announces its inaugural BASH FOR THE NASH GALA, a sparkling evening of cocktails, live auction, music, and dinner at The Heard Museum, April 23, 2022.

Featuring GRAMMY-winning pianist Bill Charlap, bassist Peter Washington, and drummer Kenny Washington, the Bill Charlap Trio was formed nearly 25 years ago in 1997 and earned GRAMMY nominations for Uptown Downtown (Impulse!/Verve), Somewhere: The Songs of Leonard Bernstein, and The Bill Charlap Trio: Live at the Village Vanguard (both on the Blue Note label). 

The holiday season is a very special time of year at City Springs. The City Green transforms into a jewel box of miniature houses adorned with lights and holiday motifs, offering photo opportunities at every stop. Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced its upcoming jazz programming, running November 1 - November 14. 

Jazz at Princeton University, helmed by trailblazing saxophonist/composer Rudresh Mahanthappa, will return to live performances on Saturday, November 6 with a concert featuring Mahanthappa’s internationally renowned Hero Trio performing with Princeton’s Small Group I.

Chamber Music America (CMA), the national network for ensemble music professionals, today announced the distribution of $1,290,450 through its six grant programs.

This year's edition features the return of live music, with a diverse assemblage of world-class and emerging jazz musicians, performing in spacious, nine-acre Waryas Park, located in downtown Poughkeepsie, in New York's historic Hudson River Valley, just 90 miles north of New York City.

On July 1, 2021 Birdland will open its doors to the public for the first time since March 2020. To mark the grand reopening, Birdland is bringing back 1949 prices as a thank you to returning patrons.

Beginning in June, live jazz concerts will resume at The Nash, the leading jazz club and educational center in Phoenix. Dennis Rowland and Diana Lee will be the first concert held at the venue, after over 14 months of closure.

On June 25th, Horizons Quartet, will release their self-titled debut on PM Records. Co-founded by up saxophonist Dan Wilkins and pianist James Collins, the quartet's youngest members, and anchored by a pair of their jazz heroes, drummer Byron Landham and bassist Gene Perla, Horizons Quartet is the consummate endorsement of multigenerational collaboration.

This year, the platform will again host the “How I Fell in Love With Jazz” video contest, which presented cash awards ($2,500 for first prize and $1,000 for second prize, with an additional 100 endearments of $100 to other entrants) for video diaries detailing jazz fans’ initial involvement with the music.

The Nash will continue its outdoor live concerts for its series, Nash Under the Stars at 'Venue 122', the outdoor garden located at 122 E. Culver St. in downtown Phoenix (Arizona Jewish Historical Society).
