According to his husband, Hamilton's Gregory Treco - 'The world lost a great light on Saturday the 11th at 7:21pm. My brave, talented, creative, giving husband of 16 years, left this earth surrounded by his closest friends and family. The pain is unbearable and I am just trying to pick up the pieces at this time.'

The 70th anniversary also celebrates Arena's vision to produce new work with three world premieres, including the seventh Power Play, a decade-long initiative focused on stories of politics and power from 1776 to present day. ANN at Zach Theatre is, simply put, the perfect production. It is immensely fitting that this show about the governor of Texas is being told literal minutes away from the state capitol. It's so fitting that I can't imagine this show being performed anywhere other than Texas just on the sheer amount of call outs and jokes about Texan culture.
