Tickets For WAM's Fall MainStage Show ANN Now On Sale

WAM Theatre announced that tickets are now on sale for their fall main stage production of Ann by Holland Taylor, starring Jayne Atkinson (TV's House of Cards, Madam Secretary), and directed by WAM's Artistic Director, Kristen van Ginhoven. Tickets were originally slated to go on sale mid-summer, but due to anticipated demand for this limited engagement, WAM has decided to open up sales now.
Dorset Theatre Festival Announces CRY IT OUT; I'M NOT RAPPAPORT Postponed To 2019

Dorset Theatre Festival, under the leadership of Artistic Director Dina Janis, Producing Director Will Rucker, and Executive Director Marissa Hutton, announced today that the 41st Season will begin with CRY IT OUT, by Molly Smith Metzler, directed by Marc Masterson. CRY IT OUT will begin performances June 21, 2018 at the Dorset Playhouse (104 Cheney Rd, Dorset, VT 05251), and will run through July 14, 2018. CRY IT OUT will occupy the slot for the previously announced production of Herb Gardner's I'm Not Rappaport starring Judd Hirsch, which has been postponed to Summer 2019 to allow Mr. Hirsch to recuperate from back surgery.

Stretching physical, emotional and mental limits, a group of elderly Broadway actors, musicians and dancers bravely dive into a production of “A Midsummer Night's Dream” and find that nothing is what it seems to be. These former Broadway stars, who reside at the Lillian Booth Actors Home just outside New York City, embark on a journey through the magical play at the urging of the Home's administrators. The staff of the Home sees this as an opportunity to boost quality of life for the residents. The residents are not so sure.

WAM Theatre's Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven today announces plans for the company's 2018 season. The Berkshire-based professional theatre company celebrates its ninth year with a main stage co-production with Dorset Theatre Festival (Dorset, VT) starring Jayne Atkinson, a thought-provoking series of play readings, a premiere presentation of comedienne Alison Larkin's one-woman show, and various other special events, including hosting BerkChique for the first time and continuing with the Girls Ensemble education program.
