Hayden Pedigo Shares New Single Ahead of Album Release & NYC Shows This Week

Pedigo has already shared two songs – the album’s lead single “Elsewhere” in addition to the title track – to acclaim from Pitchfork, NPR Music, The Fader, and many more. Ahead of the album’s release later this week, Pedigo is previewing The Happiest Times with one final clip, “Signal of Hope.”

APRA AMCOS and the Australian Music Centre have announced that the 2023 Art Music Awards will be held on Tuesday 15 August, at Carriageworks in Sydney on Gadigal land, celebrating the achievements of outstanding talent in the composition, performance, education and presentation of Australian music.

On one of its most gala evenings in recent memory, Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark and Maine State Music Theatre celebrated Maury Yeston,Tony/Drama Desk/Olivier Award winning composer and lyricist of TITANIC, with two standing room only performances of the company’s recent revival, directed and choreographed by Marc Robin. And Yeston, who had journeyed to Maine to see his work performed at the Pickard Theater on June 22 and 23, in turn celebrated the work of the company, calling the new co-production, conceived and created by MSMT and the Fulton Theatre, “the most innovative, exciting presentation of anything I have seen in years. It is not even a matter of whether it was my work or any work, what they did here was so original and brilliant in its simplicity that it was magic.”

Review: THE MOUNTAINTOP at Geffen Playhouse

As the depiction of a chance encounter between two very different people, THE MOUNTAINTOP has some interesting observations to make. But the second the stakes change and Camae proves to be something other than who she first presented herself to be, the play springs a leak and stumbles to its hagiographic and predictable conclusion.
