Disney+ has ordered 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians,' an epic adventure series based on—and closely aligned with—Disney Hyperion’s best-selling book series by award-winning author Rick Riordan, will will write with Jon Steinberg (“Black Sails,” FX’s upcoming “The Old Man”) with James Bobin (“Dora and the Lost City of Gold”) directing.

In an exclusive clip shared by the Today Show, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and director Chris Columbus revealed the challenges of filming Harry Potter when they were young. Announced earlier this month, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will reunite Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and other esteemed cast members and filmmakers across all eight Harry Potter films for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Today, Jermyn Street Theatre announces its Spring 2022 season. The Outsiders Season, which runs from mid-January to early July, features a World premiere by one of the UK's most respected playwrights, two European premieres, one London premiere and an eagerly awaited transfer of a critically praised musical thriller.

Cast members Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Ian Hart, Filmmaker Chris Columbus and more will join the new documentary in honor of the series' 20th Anniversary.

From new releases to the return of some classics, this month features highly-anticipated new projects, including back-to-back Lin Manuel Miranda releases with his tick, tick...BOOM! film on Netflix and the Encanto soundtrack, to several new albums released by Broadway favorites, and new additions to Seth Rudetsky's online concert series.

On November 25, Michael Pennington will pick up his staff and books and don his robes once more, to return to the Jermyn Street Theatre stage to play Prospero in this critically hailed production of Shakespeare’s final play. 

The museum's dungeon includes a rare and unique history of horror and suspense from Hollywood over the years including the original and complete jail sell set used for filming of “The Silence of the Lambs” and is one of the museum's most popular draws year round, with items that that include original costumes and props used in making of the film. 

With the leaves changing, the temperatures dropping, and the new display of pumpkin and skeleton decorations everywhere, it is clear that fall is in the air and Halloween is just around the “coroner,” to quote The Addams Family musical. Although October is usually an exciting time for students as they get further settled into their college routine, it can also be a stressful period due to the increasing amounts of assignments and midterms. For all of these reasons, it is not hard to imagine that college students, like me, have not yet gotten in the mood for Halloween. Today, Jermyn Street Theatre announces its first full season since it reopened with the Footprints Festival earlier this year.  The Encounters Season, which runs from mid-September to the end of the year, features some of the greatest on-stage talent in the UK, in a line-up that includes Sîan Phillips, Michael Pennington, Oliver Ford Davies and Stephen Boxer.
