A new public artwork has joined the Scottsdale Public Art Permanent Collection at a Scottsdale Water building in north Scottsdale. 

New Jersey electro-pop trio A R I Z O N A return with their new single “Moving On.” Complete with synth-infused beats and big pop hooks, the song marks the band’s first original music release in four years, and underscores why they’ve proven to be a true planetary phenomenon since their inception in 2015.

Recorded in Nashville with his longtime band The Fabulous Superlatives – Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson and Chris Scruggs – the collection finds Stuart picking up where he left off on 2017’s Way Out West, exploring a cosmic country landscape populated by dreamers and drifters, misfits and angels, honky-tonk heroes and lonesome lovers.

The Library of Congress has acquired the papers of choreographer Garth Fagan and Garth Fagan Dance, the company founded by Fagan in 1970. Garth Fagan Dance is distinguished by the artistic imagination and polyrhythmic movement of Jamaican-born Fagan, layered with the discipline and strength of ballet training. The company has performed in more than 660 cities in 24 countries on six continents.

The announcement comes with a video for its lead single “Younger & Dumber,” directed and conceptualized by Indigo and featuring clothing designed and constructed by Indigo and her mom, Kimberly Oberhammer, who also created the album’s artwork, and a mask designed by Henry Shearon.

In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera ('Sam Carpenter'), Jasmin Savoy Brown ('Mindy Meeks-Martin'), Mason Gooding ('Chad Meeks-Martin'), Jenna Ortega ('Tara Carpenter'), Hayden Panettiere ('Kirby Reed'), and Courtney Cox ('Gale Weathers') return to their roles in the franchise. Produced by Live Nation, the newly confirmed “All-American Road Show” 2023 tour dates kick off April 26 at El Paso’s UTEP Don Haskins Center. Special guests featured on the tour include Charley Crockett, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Margo Price, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives and The War and Treaty.

For this weekend only, the University of Houston will be presenting SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, a musical revue of the work of Stephen Sondheim. Co-stage directors of the production Nicole Kenley-Miller and Lawrence Edelson shared an inside scoop about the unique show and the collaboration that has gone into building this truly special production.

Acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Joy Oladokun will join John Mayer’s first-ever solo acoustic arena tour this spring serving as direct support at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Chicago’s United Center, St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center and Denver’s Ball Arena among others. 

The tour follows this past fall’s greatly anticipated release of American Bollywood, their first album in four years. The Cumberland Theatre will officially open their 35th Anniversary Season with the classic murder mystery Murder on the Orient Express on Friday, February 10th.

Following a critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, THE UNICORN returns for an extensive UK Tour, including runs at London's Arcola Theatre, North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford; Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch; The Old Town Hall, Hemel Hempstead; Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford; Harlow Playhouse; The Hat Factory, Luton; and VAULT Festival (Studio).
