Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) presents I Do! I Do!, the charming two-person musical that traces 50 years of marriage through the lives of one couple. With music by Harvey Schmidt and book and lyrics by Tom Jones, this Tony Award-nominated musical is filled with humor, honesty, and heart.

A new production of the beloved musical The Fantasticks, reimagined as a contemporary gay love story, is now in development for Broadway under the direction and choreography of Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli.

Palm Canyon Theatre’s holiday-season production of “Annie” is a radiant reminder that optimism and heart can light even the darkest of times. Directed and choreographed by Se Layne, with musical direction by Linda Mack Berven, this beloved musical bursts with warmth, humor, and dazzling performances. MB Artists and Heart Productions have announced the world premiere of a new romantic comedy, I’ll Give You My Heart, set to run at The Colony Theatre in Burbank.

Open Book Theatre Company will kick off its twelfth season this fall with the beloved musical The Fantasticks, running September 12–28, 2025, at its intimate Trenton venue. The production marks the company’s first foray into musical theatre, directed by Wendy Katz Hiller with music direction by Doug Scott.

A truly delightful escape, this must-see production is a bit of charmed magic, a fanciful and evocative whimsy.

The event will feature songs from Jones & Schmidt’s Broadway musicals Celebration, 110 in the Shade, and I Do, I Do as well as a sampling of the team’s Off-Broadway scores, and more.

Opening on July 18, directed by Elina de Santos at Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica, I decided to speak with the production’s leads Luisa and Matt, Sophie Pollono and Rhett Hemingway, about their journey to join the cast, their past experience with the musical, and their feelings about taking the story from the dreamy moonlight into the harsh reality of the Sun.
