Harry Connick Jr - A Celebration of Cole Porter, honoring one of America's most respected songwriters, just opened on Broadway last week. Featuring a vibrant, 25-piece orchestra and a modern, multi-media presentation, this entirely new production brings back to Broadway both the magic of Cole Porter's compositions and one of the world's most celebrated live performers.

Cole Porter has passed the test of time. His body of work, composed primarily for Broadway and Hollywood, comprises one of the central chapters in the Great American Songbook. As Alec Wilder noted in his classic study American Popular Song, Porter 'added a certain theatrical elegance, as well as interest and sophistication, wit, and musical complexity to the popular song form.' His music was back on Broadway earlier this year in the Roundabout revival of Kiss Me, Kate, and now again this holiday season as Harry Connick Jr. sings his songbook at the Nederlander Theatre. Harry Connick Jr. is making his official return to Broadway tonight with the opening night of Harry Connick, Jr. - A Celebration of Cole Porter. 2019 Tony Award Honoree Michael McElroy and the BROADWAY INSPIRATIONAL VOICES announce the addition of Alicia Graf Mack to their 2019 holiday concert, Seasons of Inspiration. Ms. Mack is the current Director of Juilliard Dance, and co-founder of D(n)A Arts Collective, an initiative created to enrich the lives of young dancers through master classes and intensives. Her distinguished career as a leading dancer includes Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and special performances with artists such as Alicia Keys, John Legend, and Beyoncé. She is a recipient of the Columbia University Medal of Excellence, and Smithsonian magazine named her an American Innovator of the Arts and Sciences.

SD: This is my first official Christmas show! Of course, as a singer, I have been hired many times over the past years to sing for different Christmas and holiday events. This time around, the crooner takes on the classic songbook of one of America's most respected songwriters, Cole Porter.

Harry Connick Jr a?" A Celebration of Cole Porter, honoring one of America's most respected songwriters, will launch a digital ticket lottery for every performance during the three-week limited engagement. Opening Night is set for Thursday, December 12th.

The three-week limited engagement will begin previews on Saturday, December 7th ahead of a Thursday, December 12th official opening night.
