The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) today announces the appointment of trumpeter Michael Rodriguez to its faculty. Rodriguez, a Grammy-nominated musician renowned for his artistry as a composer and instrumentalist, joins the cadre of high-profile faculty members in the Roots, Jazz, and American Music (RJAM) program, which welcomed its first class, composed of some of the world's finest young jazz musicians, in the fall of 2017.

Jack Kleinsinger's Highlights In Jazz closes its 46thseason with a tribute to lauded jazz guitarist Russell Malone. A mainstay on the Manhattan music scene since the 1980s, as well as a regular at international festivals and concert halls, Russell has attracted critical and fan recognition for his work as an accomplished leader and in-demand sideman. 

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Adrian Culver, on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:30 PM. Adrian kicks off his US and European tour by bringing his cabaret act to Feinstein's/54 Below for the first time. The show spans Weimar-era cabaret songs, well known (and forgotten) Broadway songs, as well as standards all done in his unique and eclectic style.

Multiple Grammy and Emmy Award-winning musician, actor and Broadway star Harry Connick Jr. brings "A New Orleans Tricentennial Celebration" live to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Thursday, June 21 at 7:30P.  Connick will usher in the start of summer with a concert celebrating the music of his hometown, New Orleans.

Paper Mill Playhouse is diving into the world of high stakes cons with the world premiere production of the new musical The Sting.

Tonight Paper Mill Playhouse kicks off the world premiere production of the new musical The Sting, based on the 1973 film, and with book by Bob Martin, music and lyrics by Mark Hollmann & Greg Kotis with Harry Connick, Jr. In addition, the score will contain music by Scott Joplin including 'The Entertainer.' John Rando is set to direct with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by Fred Lassen.

Broadway Veteran Ted Louis Levy, garners a double nomination for the 2018 Big Easy Awards. Fresh from taping an appearance with New Orleans native son Harry Connick Jr., Ted Louis Levy receives nominations for both 'Choreography' and 'Best Lead Actor in A Musical' in the roll of another New Orleans Icon, Mr. Ferdinand Joseph La Menthe Morton a.k.a Jelly Roll Morton in Jelly's Last Jam.
