Drury Lane Theatre announces its 2020/2021 season, including Evita, The King and I, and more! Drury Lane's 66th season also includes the empowering tale of female friendship Steel Magnolias; Forever Plaid, an ode to the best of the 1950's; and the family-friendly dance spectacular Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. Subscription packages including all five spectacular productions start at only $170 and are on sale now. Drury Lane Theatre's season runs April 2020-March 2021 at 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace.

In this special, personal evening of music, the family trio interprets selections from the playlist of their unconventional artistic home, spanning Broadway classics, 60s pop hits, and original compositions. The Annenberg Center mourns the passing of legendary Broadway director/producer Harold Prince, a revered member of its creative community since its founding in 1971. A University of Pennsylvania alumnus, Prince's generosity helped fund the construction of the Annenberg Center, and he animated its theatres, one of which bears his name. Prince was a member of the Annenberg Center's Board of Overseers from 1982 until 2018, when he was honored with emeritus status. In January 2019, he became Honorary Chair of the newly launched Director's Advisory Council.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of prolific producer, director, writer, and the individual recipient of the most Tony Awards in multiple categories in history, Harold Prince, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at age 91. To commemorate his life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of Broadway theatres in New York for one minute on Wednesday, July 31 at exactly 7:45pm.
