This unprecedented milestone is a feat achieved by no other Broadway show.

New York Producer Rod Kaats Named Artistic Director at Ordway

The Ordway Center for Performing Arts announced today that producer and director Rod Kaats will assume the position of Producing Artistic Director beginning February 1, 2018. Mr. Kaats succeeds James A. Rocco, who stepped down from the Ordway last year.

Today, January 16, marks the beginning of Peter J back's return engagement with The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. He will play a limited run through March 31. J back will be playing the title role when the show reaches its 30th anniversary on January 26. As previously announced, the anniversary will be celebrated two days prior on January 24.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center , announces that multi-discipline creative artist Lin-Manuel Miranda will receive the 18th Monte Cristo Award . An alumnus of the O'Neill, Miranda's first professional production was at the O'Neill's National Music Theater Conference with In The Heights in 2005. A gala dinner featuring a conversation with the honoree will be held at the Edison Ballroom (New York) on Monday, April 30, 2018.
