Fresh from winning its first Grammy Award, Experiential Orchestra, led by Music Director James Blachly, opens its 2021-22 season on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 8pm with a concert at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music (450 W. 37th St., NYC) highlighting its partnership with the African Diaspora Music Project (ADMP).

The internationally acclaimed cabaret star will be making his Feinstein's/54 Below debut this fall with a show centered around the music and lyrics of one his favorites... and everyone else's, too.

 On Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 8:00pm, acclaimed cellist Amit Peled will open the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra's 2021-2022 Season at the brand new Capital One Hall in Tysons, Virginia. Peled performs Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 in the highly-anticipated grand opening concert conducted by FSO Music Director Christopher Zimmerman.

MPAC is celebrating the beginning of its 27th season with a performance by Broadway vocalist Linda Eder on Friday, September 17 at 8 pm. Tickets are $49-$79. Ms. Eder will perform “Judy Garland: My and My Shadow,” a celebration of the music of the legendary actress.

The New York Youth Symphony Musical Theater Songwriting Program (NYYS) and Director Anna K. Jacobs have announced the 2021/2022 Season. Heading into its fourth season the NYYS Musical Theater Songwriting program is specially designed to lead students through a range of musical theater songwriting processes. 

JEFF HARNAR will make his solo FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW  debut with I KNOW THINGS NOW: JEFF HARNAR sings SONDHEIM.  Drawing from the words and music of Stephen Sondheim, Mr. Harnar creates a self-portrait of the emotional landscape of an openly gay New Yorker.

Alan Cumming, the Scots-born superstar of stage and screen - and much more in between - returned to his drama school roots today (Monday, August 30) to receive an honorary doctorate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Adrienne Warren has signed a one-year development deal with Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment, which produces the civil rights movement limited series starring Warren, Women of the Movement.

All four members of the Quartet – Eugene Drucker, Philip Setzer, Lawrence Dutton and Paul Watkins – will continue to perform and teach individually; as a group, they will continue to coach and mentor young ensembles through the Emerson String Quartet Institute at Stony Brook University, along with cellist David Finckel, who was a member of the quartet for 34 years.
