The Irish Tenors officially announced their 25th anniversary tour of North America, which includes U.S. tour dates for February and March 2023.

MidAmerica Productions has announced programming for its 2023 season at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, marking the 40th anniversary for the company and one of the longest tenures (over 1,000 concerts as a presenter) at Carnegie Hall.

French comedian Gad Elmaleh will perform D'ailleurs, Gad sera au…, a French-language stand-up comedy show at the Beacon Theatre on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.   Elmaleh brings D'ailleurs to New York City for the first time, having performed it at 110 sold-out shows worldwide, in front of more than 500,000 people. 

5-STAR THEATRICALS has announced the first show of its 2023-2024 season, the Tony Award winning, RAGTIME: THE MUSICAL, book by Terrence McNally, music by Lynn Ahrens, lyrics by Steven Flaherty, conductor and musical direction by Tom Griffin, choreography by Michelle Elkin and directed by Jeffrey Polk.  

The New York City musicians' union Local 802 has announced a strike against Distinguished Concerts International New York, a for-profit company that produces concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center and that boasts a roster of 257 musicians. A rally with striking musicians and elected officials will take place in front of Carnegie Hall on Monday, Feb. 20 at 6pm.

Following on the success of her immersive multimedia exhibition in Singapore, Grammy-nominated British composer, visual artist and co-founder of theatre production company Sisters Grimm, Ella Spira MBE, will open the Global Landscapes Retrospective exhibition at Carnegie Hall in New York City on the 28th March.

Written for violin and orchestra, the work was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi's granddaughter Ela on the occasion of her 80th birthday.

This captivating program of Middle Eastern songs features the return visit of the exquisite Palestinian singer Nibal Malshi, who has been noted for her evocative vocals.

Lyrics and Lyricists presents What's Going On?: Songs of Change on March 25, 26 and 27. What's Going On was created and conceived by Warren Adams (Motown: The Musical) and Michael O. Mitchell (MJ: The Musical ) as a theatrical concert exploring the work of Black songwriters and artists whose music is an essential part of the American Songbook and has played an integral role in the country's culture.

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced that Director of  Choruses Robert Porco will conclude his remarkable 35-season tenure with the May Festival in the 2023-24 season, after which he will be named Director of Choruses Emeritus. 

The Universe of Federico Garcia Lorca will guide this performance into the Spanish dances, poems and songs from the traditional Spanish songbook. There will also be pieces from Padre Soler, Manuel de Falla and Isaac Albéniz.

The Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival (UCMF) has announced its return to the Kaufman Music Center in New York City for three concerts, March 17 to 19, 2023, honoring the 'father' of Ukrainian contemporary music, Borys Liatoshynsky (3 January 1895 - 15 April 1968).

George Street Playhouse (GSP) has announced its spring musical comedy event--the Broadway/Off-Broadway hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.  Performances of this fresh and newly conceived production begin March 14th and continue through April 9th at the Arthur Laurents Theater at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. Tickets are now on sale.
