IN Series Opera closes their 2022-23 season with CHUCK AND EVA, an evening celebrating the Great American Songbook through Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy's only album: The Other Side. CHUCK AND EVA performances are June 1- 2 at the True Reformer Building and June 24 at the Baltimore Theatre Project.

It would be hard to think of a Broadway pairing who are capable of such bravura singing and are so at ease in each other's company. The evening they have created is a casual party in cocktail attire. It feels like a throwback to the days of after-show supper clubs where the elite came to meet and mingle with mere mortals. Baldwin and Lazar do serious work with the lightest touch.

On the eve of launching into its 60th anniversary season starting in the fall of 2020, The Washington Chorus announced today that it has appointed acclaimed conductor Dr. Eugene Rogers as its fifth Artistic Director, succeeding Christopher Bell beginning in July of 2020. Dr. Rogers' appointment was unanimously approved by the Washington Chorus board of trustees on unanimous recommendation from the Chorus' Artistic Director Search Committee, following an eight-month global search which yielded more than 80 highly qualified candidates.

Gun & Powder will run from January 28 a?' February 23, 2020 in Signature Theatre's intimate MAX Theatre and will be directed by Robert O'Hara (Broadway's Slave Play).
