Recognisable characters from the smash-hit TV show Peaky Blinders have been spotted along Birmingham’s canals, as Rambert dancers return to perform Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby following an incredible UK tour.

Rambert and Birmingham Hippodrome’s dance theatre show, Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby is back by popular demand at Birmingham Hippodrome between Tuesday 23 and Saturday 27 May.

Rambert and Birmingham Hippodrome today (Thursday 17 February) release the first look trailer for Rambert Dance in Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby, a dance theatre show written and adapted for the stage by Peaky Blinders' creator Steven Knight and directed and choreographed by Rambert's Artistic Director Benoit Swan Pouffer. The 60 second trailer gives audiences a taster of what's to come from Rambert Dance in Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby.

Tickets go on sale today for the World Premiere of Rambert Dance in Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby. This first of its kind production will open on 27 September 2022 at co-producing partner venue Birmingham Hippodrome running until 2 October, followed by a London premiere at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre between 12 October - 6 November before embarking on a UK tour in 2023.

The Big Meal makes a stylized approach to watching a family tree grow on stage. Pivotal moments in the timeline of this family are played out in sequence by a gifted group of eight actors.
