Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright August Wilson’s play “Radio Golf” will officially open the 2021-2022 mainstage season at Gulfshore Playhouse. Directed by Marshall Jones III, “Radio Golf” will play at Gulfshore Playhouse beginning Nov. 11 through Dec. 5, 2021.

New York Stage and Film announced today that jeremy o’brian is the recipient of the 2021 Founders’ Award. New York Stage and Film has also announced that Elisa Bocanegra has been named the 2021 recipient of the Pfaelzer Award.

Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced tickets are now on sale for Her Honor Jane Byrne, the national winner of the 2020 Harold and Mimi Steinberg/ American Theatre Critics Association Best New Play Award. Lookingglass Ensemble Member and Mellon Playwright in Residence J. Nicole Brooks' smoldering new play premiered onstage just five days before the theatre went dark due to COVID-19.

This event will also be available via livestream. This outdoor Hermitage event is presented in partnership with the Asolo Rep, which will host the regional premiere of Wohl’s play Grand Horizons starting in January of 2022.

The Huntington announces the cast and creative team of its second production of its 40th anniversary season, the dark comedy Witch by Jen Silverman, directed by Rebecca Bradshaw, running from October 15 to November 14, 2021 at The Huntington's Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA. Running time of the show is 90 minutes with no intermission.

After more than three decades leading creative operations for one of America’s largest theaters, Tony Award-winner Robert Falls is ending his tenure as Artistic Director of Goodman Theatre. Today, Falls announced his intention to step down next summer at the completion of the current 2021/2022 Season.
