Queens Rising, in partnership with Culture Lab LIC, is producing Queens Seen: What Artists are Creating in the World's Borough.

There will be dancing in Rockaway. Poetry will pop up in Ridgewood. They'll hit the high notes in Flushing. An art invasion is headed for Astoria!

The Young Vic Theatre has announced full casting for Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah's (The Collaboration) razor-sharp satire and UK premiere, Beneatha's Place, about the power of knowing your history and the cost of letting it go. The production runs in the Main House from 27 June to 5 August with opening night for press on 5 July. 

Here There Are Blueberries opened last night, Thursday, May 11, at Shakespeare Theatre Company in D.C, following its critically acclaimed, sold-out world premiere at the La Jolla Playhouse. The show will move Off-Broadway as part of the New York Theater Workshop 2023/24 season. Check out photos from the opening night celebration below!

Queens Rising is holding an open call for Queens-based visual artists to present work in a month-long gallery show entitled Queens Seen: What Artists are Creating in the World's Borough. The complete cast has been announced for the Broadway premiere of Once Upon A One More Time, the new musical comedy that flips the script on famous fairytales, powered by the music of Grammy Award-winning international pop icon Britney Spears.
