Sony Masterworks Broadway today released SING STREET (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING), an album of music from the musical adaptation of John Carney's indie hit film.

The Recording Academy®, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and CBS will celebrate 38-time GRAMMY® nominee and seven-time GRAMMY winner Prince with a special broadcast of 'Let's Go Crazy: The GRAMMY Salute To Prince'. The tribute concert is hosted by comedian Maya Rudolph, who will also perform with her Prince cover band Princess.

Co-produced by 8 Ball Aitken and Dave Percefull (Green Day, Gary Clark Jr.,) Swamp Blues 2 was recorded at yellow DOG Studios in Wimberley, TX, and features 13 swampy funk-laden songs all written or co-written by 8 Ball. 8 Ball elaborates, 'I love the laid-back feel and rhythmic space in swamp blues. I feel like you spend the first half of your musical life learning licks, tricks and techniques on your instrument, then the second half choosing not to play them.”

Today, the Austin, TX-based country rock band Reckless Kelly released “Thinkin' Bout You All Night” from their upcoming album American Jackpot (out May 22 alongside their album American Girls). The song will be available everywhere tomorrow but you can hear it now on The Boot. The band will also be sharing a weekly acoustic show with Willy Braun starting this Sunday at 7pm CDT on the band's Facebook.

Sony Masterworks Broadway today has released 'Drive It Like You Stole It,' a new track from the forthcoming ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING of Sing Street. Based on John Carney's indie hit film following a group of teenagers in '80s Dublin, Sing Street features music inspired by the era, co-written by Carney and Danny Wilson front man Gary Clark. A fan-favorite number from the original film, 'Drive It Like You Stole It' celebrates the thrill of rebellion, capturing the essence of the '80s with its anthemic singalong chorus - listen here.

The Lyceum Theatre box office opens Thursday, February 27 at 10am (EST) for the new Broadway musical SING STREET starring the cast of the critically acclaimed New York Theatre Workshop production. 

Today, The Black Keys confirm their 35-date “Let's Rock” summer tour with performances in cities including Seattle, Dallas, Boston, New York, Tampa & Jacksonville (full dates below). Each date on the tour will feature special guest Gary Clark Jr., with the exception of the July 10th Berkeley show which will feature support from Allah-Las. Jessy Wilson, The Marcus King Band, and Yola will each open select dates. Tickets for all dates will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, February 28th at 10am local time here

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced the line-up for the 2020 KCRW's World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. The successful collaboration between KCRW and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, now in its 21st year, launches Sunday, June 28, at 7PM.
