They returned to Petty's home studio in Malibu – where they'd spent countless hours crafting their 2016 debut – to absorb that history while simultaneously pushing forward and coming into their own.

Southern California rock band The Shelters have shared the official video for their new single “You're Different.” Directed by Allister Ann, the video is a surrealist homage to mid-century sci-fi cinema. Singer Chase Simpson explains, “We wanted to create a story that had the same fun and exciting energy of the song while still connecting to the more deeply rooted concept of what it really means to be different. We absolutely love Allister and her work, she did an incredible job interpreting the spirit of this single into a story that's visually just as up-beat and 'different' as the music.”

About the song, PopMatters says, 'There's something beautifully fragile in Hollingsworth's performance on a song that calls to mind a '70s solo record from former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman or the country colors of Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance. And though it's a contemporary song, not a throwback, there is something about Hollingsworth's sincerity and the familiarity of the tale he tells that makes this a tune for any time.'
