Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman's next big screen adventure finds her facing two all-new foes: Max Lord and The Cheetah.

According to Deadline, Gal Gadot has formed a production company with her husband and producing partner Jaron Varsano called Pilot Wave. The first project to come out of the new company will be the Holocaust drama, Irena Sendler. Gadot will also star in the titular role.

Greg Silverman's Stampede and Peter Lawson's Steel Springs Pictures announced today that they will produce and co-finance the feature film ALICE, which Krystin Ver Linden will direct from her original screenplay. The film will mark Stampede's second feature to go into production and the first feature made under Peter Lawson's Steel Springs Pictures banner. Filming is due to commence in Louisiana in early 2020.   

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Ali Fazal has joined the star-studded cast of director Kenneth Branagh's 'Death on the Nile.' He most recently starred in period drama 'Victoria & Abdul' with Judi Dench.

Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill., on Oct. 11-12-13, 2019.

Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) will star in and executive produce an untitled limited series for the network about famed actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. 

Nominees for the 6th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards were announced today by LMGI President Mike Fantasia. The awards honor the outstanding and creative visual contributions by location professionals and film commissions in film, television and commercials from around the globe. The LMGI Awards also recognize outstanding service by film commissions for their support 'above and beyond' during the production process. With the change in date of this year's LMGI Awards from April to September, the 6th Annual LMGI Awards timeline is unique in that there is an 18-month calendar of eligibility. Productions that were first released between January 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019 are eligible. Winners will be revealed during the formal ceremony on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Broad Theatre in Santa Monica.

RED NOTICE finds a new home at Netflix and has added Ryan Reynolds to the cast. Red Notice will be a globetrotting action-thriller centered around the pursuit of the most wanted art thief in the world and is set to begin principal photography in various locations in 2020.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) are pleased to announce that the 25th annual Critics' Choice Awards will air LIVE on The CW Network on Sunday, January 12, 2020 (7:00-10:00p.m. Live ET/ Delayed PT), with acclaimed film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs returning as the event's host. The show will continue its combined Film and Television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement, and take place once again at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

David F. Sandberg ('Annabelle: Creation') directs New Line Cinema's 'Shazam!,' the origin story that stars Zachary Levi (TV's 'Chuck') as the titular DC Super Hero, along with Asher Angel (TV's 'Andi Mack') as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong (the 'Kingsman' movies) in the role of Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Peter Safran ('Aquaman,' 'The Conjuring' and 'Annabelle' films) serves as the film's producer.

Music mogul DJ Khaled is set to host Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2019, the biggest, slimiest party of the year for kids, broadcasting live Saturday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The news, which also included this year's nominees, was announced today by Double Dare host Liza Koshy via a first-time Kids' Choice Awards nomination livestream event across Nickelodeon's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles and channels.

Idris Elba is currently in talks to star in MGM's supernatural thriller “Deeper,” according to Variety.

Actress Claire Foy and producer Chuck Lorre will receive very special honors at the 24th annual Critics' Choice Awards gala, the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced today. 

The 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) will present Olivia Colman with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Actress for The Favourite at its annual Film Awards Gala. The award will be presented by her co-star in the film Emma Stone. The Film Awards Gala, hosted by Mary Hart and Entertainment Tonight, and presented by American Express, will be held on Thursday, January 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The Festival runs January 3-14.
