Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, the show features music from the movie, as well as new music written byAndrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Glenn Slater and a book by Julian Fellowes. Comedy star David Fynn stars as substitute teacher Dewey Finn, the role made famous by Jack Black in the film, and a nationwide search to find the three teams of 13 young performers took place earlier this year.

With their advertising campaign encouraging people to 'SAVE MONEY - DON'T COME' which apparently has not worked, the show that they capitalised in the West End for £250,000 and opened at the Duchess Theatre at the beginning of September, written by and starring unknown out of work actors, has already recouped all of its production costs and is now turning a weekly profit.

West End Eurovision opens tonight, Thursday 26th April at The Dominion Theatre in London's West End, with no fewer than ten West End show casts performing fully costumed and choreographed versions of Eurovision Song Contest numbers. Audience members will be treated to unique, fully staged Eurovision entries performed by the London West End casts of: Billy Elliot, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia!, Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, Shrek, Sweeney Todd, The 39 Steps, The Wizard of Oz and Wicked. In addition, there will be a one off extravaganza of a performance by international recording artist and television personality Javine Hylton as she reprises her 2005 UK entry 'Touch My Fire'.
