The cast has been revealed for the upcoming industry reading of Can’t Hardly Wait the Musical!, written by Sinead Daly, with arrangements and orchestrations by Jesse Vargas and directed by Kate Sullivan.

The Old Globe has shared a peek inside the sitzprobe for its world premiere new musical, Regency Girls. Performances for the Broadway-bound musical comedy run from April 2 to May 4, 2025, with the opening on April 10. Watch the video.

Kristen Bell joined Emily Goglia for a guest appearance during her cabaret show at The Moon Room in Los Angeles earlier this week. The duo performed a medley of songs from Wicked and Frozen. Check out the video here!

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the concert Danny Has Friends: The music of Danny K. Bernstein In Concert, will be performed on Friday, March 23 at 7:00 PM. The evening will feature songs from Bernstein's full-length musicals Far From Canterbury, Wings, and The Bishops, including songs such as "Just The Beginning," "It's Complicated," and "Don't Fall." 

Far From Canterbury, a new musical by Danny K. Bernstein, is having a staged reading on March 9th. The reading will be directed by Charlie Johnson.

At its core, THE BOOK OF MORMON is a typical buddy comedy/fish out of water scenario infused with powerhouse song and dance. Added to the mix is a heavy, heavy dose of R rated flavors and an unapologetic irreverence.

One of the major concerns in attending a return visit by a Broadway touring show is that the production will be a lesser version. Those planning on attending 'Book of Mormon,' now on stage at the State Theatre, should have no fears. This reincarnation is equally good as any of the other versions that have trucked into town. In fact, it is probably better than some of the others.

There's not a lot to be written about The Book of Mormon that's new but the tour currently in San Jose is definitely worth another joyful, irreverent look.
