This reviewer was completely enchanted by the sheer joy of Max Raabe's musical performance on Thursday, March 21st at Carnegie Hall. Time travel may not be possible in reality, but it certainly felt like stepping into the late 1920’s and  early 1930’s.

An overall resounding triumph despite its insistence on side-stepping some of the more salacious scandals associated with its subject, pop star Michael Jackson—MJ - THE MUSICAL is a genuinely entertaining and nostalgic show that purposely aims to celebrate the creative, if misunderstood genius behind some of the biggest hits in pop music history.

I’m so happy to have the opportunity to chat with the co-writer of DISASTER! Jack Plotnick. DISASTER! runs March 22 - April 21 at The Georgetown Palace Theatre and Jack is attending opening night.

Though shaken by a recent battle with cancer, the husband-and-wife duo are prepared to put on a show March 23rd where you can park your worries at the door and just enjoy some classic standards and song and dance.
