There will be no tickets required. The public is invited to come as they please, and bring their own blankets and picnics. Tetreault also plans to invite members of the Biden administration and other prominent figures to the performance.

Justin McDevitt's short play TELL ME HOW I DID will stream as part of a virtual play festival presented by the Fifth Avenue Theatre of New York. The play will begin streaming on November 15th.

Sasha Regan and her All-male Company brings THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, one of W. S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan's best-known classic operettas, to the home of D'Oyly Carte opera on Sunday 13th December for one night.  Originally known as The Royal English Opera House, the Palace Theatre was founded by Richard D'Oyly Carte in 1891 and opened with Sir Arthur Sullivan's Ivanhoe. 

This New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players production is your chance to get carried away by The Pirates of Penzance - they'll steal your heart away on Thursday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for one night only!

Once, the winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will open at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on December 5th and run through December 22nd. The musical is based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, which was written and directed by John Carney, and starred Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, with original music and lyrics by Mr. Hansard and Ms. Irglová.  (The multiple award-winning Once has also won Grammy and Olivier awards.)

On Saturday, November 23 at 3pm and 7:30pm and on Sunday, November 24 at 3pm, Utopia Opera opens its 9th season with W.S. Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan's perennially popular comic opera, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, in a fully-staged production performed with chamber orchestra at the Ida K. Lang Recital Hall at Hunter College (695 Park Avenue).

ONCE tells the enchanting tale of a Dublin street musician who's about to give up on his dream when an intriguing young woman takes a sudden interest in his haunting love songs. As the chemistry between them grows, his music soars to powerful new heights... but their unlikely connection turns out to be deeper and more complex than your everyday romance

Once, the musical that broke new ground on Broadway, will begin rehearsals in Fort Myers on August 6, 2019.  Winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, ONCE is a truly original Broadway experience. Concert readings of THE UPSIDE OF DOWN will be held at the Royal Room (5000 Rainier Ave S, Seattle) Sunday June 23 at 3PM and Monday June 24 at 7PM.

The Steps Beyond Foundation, Steps on Broadway's non-profit arm which connects artists and community through dialogue, performance, and artistic collaboration, invites four musical theater visionaries to discuss The Creative Process Unraveled: Creating a New Musical, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Steps Studio Theater on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

For the Toronto company of Come From Away, their return to Newfoundland this week is a homecoming of sorts - bringing back to the island the musical that tells the stories of those who were stranded there, and the Canadians who took them in, following the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001. For the first time since the original TorontoBroadway company performed the musical in concert for the town of Gander - the musical has returned to 'the rock,' this time for a week of performances in St. John's, Newfoundland at the Holy Heart Theatre.

It was announced today that a new block of tickets for COME FROM AWAY on Broadway are now on sale through November 3, 2019 at Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Come From Away has announced another extension to its run in Toronto! Twelve more weeks of performances will be added, from October 23, 2018 through January 20, 2019. This new block of tickets will go on sale Monday May 7, 2018.

This riotous 1892 comedy of a marriage caught between the big city and a small town, makes a triumphant return to the New York stage for the first time since its premiere.

Obie Award winning Metropolitan Playhouse revives A Marriage Contract, Augustin Daly's uproarious and poignant commentary on marriage, family, and the contrast between county and city life. Staged by Artistic Director Alex Roe at Metropolitan Playhouse, 220 E. 4th Street, New York City. This production marks, to our knowledge, the first time the play is being presented since 1892 premiere. It is worth noting that the script only exists in manuscript form and was never published.
