Il Consiglio di Amministrazione dell'associazione internazionale ha approvato la nomina nel corso della riunione avvenuta oggi pomeriggio. Si tratta della prima volta di una donna italiana alla presidenza dell'associazione sin dalla sua fondazione nel 2002. Anna Maria Meo era entrata a far parte del board di Opera Europa alla fine del 2018 ed era stata nominata Vice Presidente nel 2019.
