The Kite Runner is on its way to Broadway! The limited engagement is set to begin previews at The Hayes Theater on July 6; opening night is July 21, and it will run through October 30. The cast just met the press and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the festivities!

The Franklin Stage Company has announced the lineup of their 25th season, from July 4th weekend through August 29. All performances will be held on the lawn outside the theater. The season will open July 3rd with an opening reception for an art exhibit titled Franklin Stage Company and the Evolution of Chapel Hall.

The month-long Origin 1st Irish Theatre Festival, the world's only festival devoted to producing the plays of contemporary Irish playwrights from around the world, runs four weeks from January 7 to February 3, 2020. A total 15 events, including seven mainstage productions from Belfast, Dublin, Wexford, and Manhattan and Queens, will be seen in- and out-of-competition. Among the productions, three are American premieres; two are world premieres. 15 contemporary Irish writers are represented with work in the Festival.
