La Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), a través de la Coordinación Nacional de Literatura (CNL), en conjunto con el Gobierno del estado de Baja California, por medio de la Secretaría y del Instituto de Cultura de la entidad, anuncian que el jurado declaró desierto el Premio Bellas Artes Baja California de Dramaturgia Luisa Josefina Hernández 2021, por lo cual los recursos previstos para el galardón se destinarán a la realización de un  diplomado en honor de la escritora, dramaturga y ensayista mexicana cuya obra es fundamental en el quehacer teatral del país. 

Here is your first look at onstage photos of the Kentwood Players cast of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a comedy by Christopher Durang, opening Friday, September 17 through Sunday, October 10, 2021 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. Alexander Perez's story of labor-related power dynamics and that of the 'work family.' 'Randy's Dandy Coaster Castle,' joins the 3B Residency of IRT Theatre. The play runs August 19 - 21 @ 7:30 pm; August 22 @ 1:00 & 7:00 pm; August 25-28 @ 7:30pm; August 29 @ 1:00 & 7:00 pm at IRT Theater is located at 154 Christopher St, New York City.

Launching the season is Off the Map, August 28, 2021 featuring stories that reveal how to navigate a world that is no longer familiar. All 2nd Story performances will be held via Zoom until further notice.

Rituales de tinta. Antología de dramaturgas mexicanas, de Gabriela Ynclán, recopila textos de Verónica Bujeiro, Ximena Escalante, Elena Guiochíns, Virginia Hernández, María Luisa Medina, Verónica Musalem, Rosa Helena Ríos, Camila Villegas, Edna Ochoa, Artemisa Téllez y Gabriela Ynclán.

Center Theatre Group has welcomed Casey Nicholaw, Phylicia Rashad and Paula Vogel, as its latest Associate Artists.

La Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL) invitan a disfrutar de la videoserie Diego Rivera: intrahistorias, donde expertas y expertos en la obra del muralista guanajuatense relatarán anécdotas sobre su vida y obra. Los primeros cuatro videos, producidos por el Museo Mural Diego Rivera, se transmitirán en la plataforma Contigo en la distancia y en el canal oficial de YouTube del INBAL. 

Con el regreso de las salas de cine, las distribuidoras ya están preparando los estrenos que harán volver a los cinéfilos a las butacas este verano tras estos meses sin poder visitar su lugar de culto.
