La Secretaría de Cultura y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) conmemoran el centenario de la llegada de Carlos Mérida a México con la exposición Carlos Mérida. Retrato escrito (1891-1984) en el Museo Nacional de Arte (Munal).
“Siempre se encontrará en mi pintura una fuente, un origen vital… asociaciones remotas o sentimientos musicales que vienen desde muy lejos”, aseguró en su diario, aún inédito, Carlos Mérida, cuya obra es motivo de una exposición que se inaugurará el 16 de noviembre en el Museo Nacional de Arte (Munal).
El próximo viernes 9 de noviembre se inaugurará la exposición Escultores en estudio. Apuntes de investigación en el Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes. La muestra estará conformada por más de 80 obras de nueve artistas nacionales, cuya producción plástica queda inserta dentro del movimiento llamado Escuela Mexicana de Escultura.
Para conmemorar el natalicio de Ricardo Martínez (1918-2009), una de las figuras más significativas en la plástica mexicana del siglo XX, la fundación que lleva su nombre presentó el libro Ricardo Martínez, a 100 años de su nacimiento, proyecto editorial con material inédito que muestra distintos aspectos de su vida y obra.
Para conmemorar el centenario del natalicio de Ricardo Martínez (1918-2009), una de las figuras más significativas en la plástica mexicana del siglo XX, la Fundación Ricardo Martínez y el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA), por medio de la Coordinación Nacional de Artes Visuales y el Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes, unen esfuerzos para realizar una serie de actividades que pondrán de relieve la trayectoria y producción pictórica del artista.
El Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) ha apostado por la tecnología y las herramientas digitales para acercarse, de manera más ágil y pronta, a diversos públicos. Prueba de ello es el Diplomado en Literatura europea contemporánea, una iniciativa del INBA, llevada a cabo por la Coordinación Nacional de Literatura, que busca descentralizar y democratizar el saber sobre los libros.
