Cabaret patroness Madame Mathieu has selected two-time Tony Award nominee Bob Stillman (Grey Gardens, Kiss of the Spider Woman) and MTV's Paul Iacono (The Hard Times of RJ Berger, FAME) as guests of honor at the July 26th edition of Bistro Awards Critics' Pick Madame Mathieu's Soiree. The duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.

Not to be missed! Two River Theater is now presenting 'Songbird.' Set in Nashville, Tennessee, it is an intriguing story based on Anton Chekhov's 'The Seagull' that deals with the complexities of human relationships. Written by Michael Kimmel, with music and lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, the show features the finest direction by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, choreography by Marc Kimelman, and musical direction by Kris Kukul.

BE MORE CHILL - the musical whose cult status and social media following have propelled it to chart-topping success and a long-awaited Off Broadway debut this summer - will be released on vinyl from Ghostlight Records on Friday, July 27. This release will coincide with the show's New York premiere production, which starts previews on Thursday, July 26. The show features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis, book by Joe Tracz, and is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini. Fans who pre-order through PledgeMusic will be the first to receive the vinyl double gatefold package, which features new illustrative designs, green and red colored discs, and a 16-page booklet with lyrics, production photos and a new liner note from Joe Iconis.

Two River Theater (Artistic Director John Dias, Managing Director Michael Hurst) presents Songbird, based on Chekhov's The Seagull, written by Michael Kimmel, with music and lyrics by Lauren Pritchard, directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch. The choreography is by Marc Kimelman. Producers Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman have announced additional casting for the new musical King Kong. Joining the previously announced Christiani Pitts, (A Bronx Tale) as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) as Carl Denham, will be Erik Lochtefeld (Misery, Metamorphoses) as Lumpy.

King Kong will open at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) on November 8, 2018. Preview performances will begin Friday, October 5, 2018. King Kong will star Christiani Pitts, currently starring in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris, who played Sky in Mamma Mia!, will play Carl Denham.
