CCAE Theatricals in association with The California Center for the Arts, Escondido announce the cast of the cult-classic horror spoof The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

In what would have been Moonlight Stage Productions' largest season ever in celebration of its 40th Anniversary, the City of Vista owned theatre has made the decision to cancel its first two musicals of the summer: a?oeAn American in Parisa?? (originally scheduled May 13 -20, 2020) and a?oeSomething Rotten!a?? (originally scheduled June 10 a?' 27, 2020).

Season 17 kicks off with the crowd-pleasing, Tony-nominated jukebox musical Rock of Ages. Directed by Sean Murray, this exhilarating rock and roll experience runs July 2 through August 25, 2019. Opening Night for media is Saturday, July 6 at 8:00PM.

The show follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boy's band that he will lead. The catch is he doesn't know the difference between a trombone and a treble clef! Before he can skip town, the town librarian steals Hill's heart and transforms him into a respectable citizen.
