During times like these, I find it incredibly difficult to feel or be creative. Most days, I don’t have the energy for it. So how do we find the motivation to create when we are experiencing burnout? I’ve been thinking about this a lot, and discussing the struggle with friends, and have compiled this list of thoughts and suggestions of what to do when creativity fails to strike.

March 12, 2020 is a date that will stick out in our memories for a long time. Concerns grew quickly over the coronavirus outbreak-- stars and fans stopped going to stage doors, matinees started to get cancelled-- and once the news of a full Broadway shutdown was announced, everything seemed to stop in its tracks.

Over 117 dancers from nine different countries came together with four musicians and two vocalists to bring the arts community together on one screen virtually. The project consists of Radio City Rockettes, Broadway dancers including Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Fredric Odgaard, Colin Bradbury, Sara Brians, Chip Abbott and more. Viral dance sensation Boss Baby Brody (@bossbabybrody) is also featured dancing his heart out with his sister Dylan.
Emily Bear Releases New Single I'M NOT ALONE

17 year old critically acclaimed singer/songwriter, composer and pianist Emily Bear, has released her brand new single entitled, 'I'm Not Alone.' The track, produced by Toby Gad (John Legend, Beyoncé, Fergie) and Kill Dave, showcases Bear's distinct vocal talent against a more pop/urban leaning sound. 'I'm Not Alone' is the first glimpse of music from her forthcoming EP, set for release later this year. The song was also featured in a major real-life dramatic scene on Monday night's episode of 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' on VH1.

The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony will celebrate its milestone 25th anniversary on Sunday, April 7, with a Gala and Concert, featuring highlights from the orchestra's signature repertoire. The evening will also include performances by longtime friend of the LAJS, actress Tovah Feldshuh, and two stars of the classical / new music world: soprano Hila Plitmann (hailed as radiant by the Los Angeles Times) and pianist/composer Emily Bear. Grant Park Music Festival 2018 Season Begins June 13

Chicago's Grant Park Music Festival Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Carlos Kalmar today announced a rich array of programming for the Festival's 2018 season, including a large-scale world premiere commission for orchestra and chorus by the Latvian composer, ?riks E envalds. Kalmar will lead the Grant Park Orchestra, along with Chorus Director Christopher Bell and the Grant Park Chorus, in a ten-week season, taking place from June 13 August 18 at Millennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion and other venues throughout the city.
