Within two years NYC-based Christopher Peifer released his critically acclaimed debut solo album “Suicide Mission,” and follow-up, “The Social Distance” – both written and recorded entirely during the months of pandemic, lockdowns, unprecedented unemployment, death, political upheaval, and social distancing – and has now emerged on the other side, completing his COVID years trilogy of death, purgatory, and resurrection with “Sacred & Profane.”

Academy and multi-Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish, Grammy winner Doja Cat, multi Latin Grammy winner Camilo, the youngest recipient of the Best Reggae Album Grammy award, Koffee, emerging audio-visual artist and rap pioneer Tobe Nwigwe, pop sensation King Princess and Grammy-nominated country music star Mickey Guyton.

This November and December 2022, the Center for the Arts at George Mason University continues in-person programming featuring an array of dance, theater, opera, and music from around the world through the 2022/2023 Great Performances at Mason series and Family Series as well as signature events from Mason's College of Visual and Performing Arts.

The 20-song live set includes several songs from Nimrod, plus fan favorites from their previous albums and singles. The 14 track demos disc includes two unreleased Green Day songs (“You Irritate Me” (OUT NOW) and “Tre Polka”, plus a cover of the classic Elvis Costello song “Alison” (previously unreleased).

Minneapolis Musical Theatre has announced its first full season since before the COVID-19 pandemic, featuring three contemporary musicals that all put imaginative spins on classic tales. The season includes a special holiday production and two area premieres.

From Thursday August 4 through Saturday  August 6, international touring funny man Tony Molesworth returns to The Royal City for a 3 day run in the Guelph Fringe Festival with his one-man comedy and banjo shtick show titled 'BANJOKER'. Local music fans will remember him as the emcee of the popular annual Guelph BanjoFest.

Megan Thee Stallion co-hosting the show on Aug. 11. That will be followed by a three-day long “Tonight Show” takeover by multi-platinum, award-winning musician Demi Lovato on Aug. 16-18. Madonna is a part of the Superstar Super Summer lineup of special guests that includes Sterling K. Brown, Idris Elba, Kate McKinnon, Martin Short and more.

Singer/songwriter Vonda Shepard will release single/video “Shine Your Light” on July 29. It’s first single and video from her upcoming 13th studio album Red Light, Green Light due out September 23.

The Town Hall and T Bone Burnett will present A Tribute to Bob Dylan in partnership with the Bob Dylan Center on September 30, 2022 at 8pm. Curated T Bone Burnett, the show will feature performances by a diverse array of artists, each performing songs written by Dylan spanning the Nobel laureate’s illustrious career.

TOArts has announced the current line-up for the 2022-2023 season, featuring 37 engaging new events.  Included are music, dance, blues, comedy, magic and theater.

The Center for the Arts at George Mason University announced the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band will bring its Pass It On: 60th Anniversary Musical Celebration tour to Fairfax, VA on November 6 at 7 p.m., as part of the 2022/2023 Great Performances at Mason season.

With the previous two performances of Wide Eyed in Wonder—Escapades and Serenades along Love's Trail of Longing sold out, Odyssey Theatre Ensemble’s Music at the Odyssey series has announced one additional performance on July 30.
