The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Lisa Rothe, Co-Presidents), an organization which has been leading the gender parity conversation and championing women in the professional theatre for over 35 years, will present the final Oral History event of their 2017-18 season with two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera.

The Suncoast Credit Union Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) is proud to announce the dynamic 2018 Feature Film Competition Lineup. Following an extensive nationwide search,American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Board of Trustees and Executive Director Peter Pastreich today named Tony, OBIE, and Drama Desk Award winner Pam MacKinnon the new artistic director of San Francisco's premier nonprofit theater organization. MacKinnon succeeds Carey Perloff who will depart from American Conservatory Theater at the end of the 2017-18 season after 25 years at the helm. MacKinnon will begin planning the 2018-19 season alongside Perloff effective immediately. In addition, she will begin partnering with the leaders of A.C.T.'s world-class actor training programs and ever-expanding community programs, ensuring A.C.T. continues its role as the Bay Area's leading theater arts educational organization.

Actress Cindy Marinangel will star in next month's World Premiere of Marlene, a new one-woman play about German actress, singer, patriot and feminist Marlene Dietrich, at the New York Theatre Festival's Winterfest 2018.

Angeliki Giannakopoulos' timely, immigrant drama about her father NICK THE GREEK: A ONE-WOMAN SHOW, directed by Amy Chaffee begins its worldwide tour in an exclusive Los Angeles run on February 10, 2018, at the Waco Theater Center in N. Hollywood. After its debut, the production will move to another venue with additional shows through the summer.

Directed by Michael Wilson, Right Before I Go. featured a cast of 23, including Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award-winners raising awareness for suicide prevention.

Sundance Institute showcases bold, independent storytelling at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, beginning with today's announcement of feature films selected across all categories. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 18 28.

Producers announced today that NFL running back and ABC's Dancing with the Stars winner Rashad Jennings, Amber Tamblyn, Hari Nef and Chris Gethard will join the cast of the New York City premiere of Stan Zimmerman's Right Before I Go. Directed by Michael Wilson, Right Before I Go. will be performed as a one-night-only benefit on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Town Hall (123 W 43rd Street). A student panel / talkback will take place at 6:30 PM followed by the 8:00 PM performance. A VIP post-show cocktail reception will take place immediately after the performance for anyone who purchased a VIP level ticket. Proceeds from the evening will benefit prominent suicide awareness and prevention charities, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org) and JED Foundation (JEDFoundation.org). Additional casting will be announced shortly.
