The all-Canadian cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now ensconced in the newly re-modelled CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where they are in the midst of technical rehearsals in preparation for the show’s first performance on Tuesday May 31st. To mark that day, a special public celebration will be held at Yonge-Dundas Square from 12 noon – 2 pm.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child originally cast a spell over the world as an epic two-part event. Now, the show has been boldly restaged as one singular performance by the award-winning creative team for its return to North America.

What did critics think of Moulin Rouge on tour? The cast is led by Chicago's own Courtney Reed as Satine and Conor Ryan as Christian, as well as Austin Durant as Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris as The Duke of Monroth, Gabe Martínez as Santiago and Libby Lloyd as Nini.

 In the last two years, only a handful of shows have been on the stages of the Mirvish theatres under very restrictive conditions. But this spring holds the most promising opportunity for theatre to truly return to our city, albeit with safety protocols in place.

The National Tour of Ain't Too Proud officially kicked off at the Kennedy Center, after cancelling 15 performances due to COVID-19. Performances began on December 28 and continued through January 16.

The Mirvish theatre season is changing due to unforeseen developments in this pandemic. After consulting with our team of doctors, they are moving some of their shows from this winter into the spring, when the current situation is expected to be resolved and it will be safe again to enjoy live theatre performances.

Due to the Ontario’s new Covid closures, Jake Epstein’s exuberant and bittersweet musical love letter to show business, Boy Falls from the Sky, has been rescheduled from its original January 2022 run at the CAA Theatre to April/May 2022 at the same venue.

In the theatre there is no higher honour than for theatres to dim their marquee lights at the customary curtain time, 8 pm. And that’s exactly what will happen on Tuesday, November 30 at 8 pm at the CAA Ed Mirvish, the Princess of Wales and the Royal Alexandra theatres.

Tonight's performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been canceled. The production announced the cancellation less than one hour before the performance was set to begin. 

The full cast has been announced for the exclusive West Coast engagement of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The world’s most award-winning new play returns to San Francisco’s Curran (445 Geary St.) on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 as a newly staged, single magical adventure.

The Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has announced the return of the popular “Friday Forty,” where every Friday at 1:00 PM ET the show will release a limited number of $40 tickets for every performance the following week.

Hadestown, the 2019 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, officially opened its North American Tour on October 15, at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
