Artists in Residence, a new platform supporting artists' creativity and well-being during the pandemic, launches during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its Online 2020 Fall Season. This fall will feature five Performances on Screen.

The 92nd Street Y Unterberg Poetry Center's fall season features critically-acclaimed novelists Marilynne Robinson and Zadie Smith, beloved American poet Billy Collins and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar, among others, in virtual events.

Starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen, Staged (6x15) features the cast of a play - the cream of the crop of British acting talent - who are furloughed when their upcoming West End production is suddenly brought to a halt. The series follows the cast as they try their best to keep the rehearsals on track in lockdown.

Mad Cow Theatre has announced their virtual play reading series! This summer, they will be producing two full-length readings and corresponding Drama Club events via a virtual livestream. Both readings are free to the public with a $5 suggested donation, but patrons will need to reserve a spot to receive an access link.

To celebrate International Dylan Thomas Day on May 14, 92Y's Poetry Center will release a never-before-seen recording of a 2014 performance of Thomas' play, Under Milk Wood, featuring actor Michael Sheen, among others.

This is the 3rd of Aisle Say's interviews with local arts professionals. 92Y's Unterberg Poetry Center continues its celebration of National Poetry Month with archival recordings of readings by many of the best-known poets, including Maya Angelou, W.H. Auden (pictured above), e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, Robert Frost, Pablo Neruda (his first U.S. reading), Kay Ryan, U.S. Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, Adrienne Rich, Mary Oliver , Tracy K. Smith and Seamus Heaney, among many others.  All of the poets mentioned have appeared at 92Y as part of the Poetry Center's main reading series; the Poetry Center began in 1939.

Pear Theatre announces its 19th season, full of reimagined classics and intriguing new works. All performances are held at the Pear Theatre's performance space at 1110 La Avenida St., Mountain View. Each show offers a preview performance on the first Thursday, followed by Press/Opening Night on Friday. Aurea Ensemble will present its annual holiday concert, A Child's Christmas in Wales on Sunday, December 15, 3pm at St. John's Episcopal Church in Barrington and on Friday, December 20, 7pm at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Providence.  This heartwarming performance ushers in the season with the Ensemble's magical alchemy of music and words, incorporating a charming reading of the Dylan Thomas classic story with musical interludes of festive chamber music, harpsichord and traditional English carols.  The concert is for all ages, an uplifting event for children and adults alike.

November 29 - December 8, Pontine Theatre performs its annual A New England Christmas. This year's production features two holiday tales, one from 'New' England and the other from 'Old' England.

West End Production's Under Milk Wood is now playing at North 4th Theatre in Albuquerque. Under Milk Wood is a play based on a radio drama by playwright and poet Dylan Thomas. Commissioned by the BBC in 1950, it was completed shortly before his death in New York City in 1953. A film version, directed by Andrew Sinclair, was released in 1972, and another adaptation of the play, directed by Pip Broughton, was staged for television on the 60th anniversary of the radio play in 2014. The play is thought of as an expression of love for the cast of characters of the fictional costal fishing town of Llareggub in Wales - the name of the town is said to reveal its meaning only when read backwards.

Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's Pay What You Want theatre company, has announced the final production of its 10th Anniversary season, Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas, directed by Ryan Wagner. There will be one preview performance on Friday, August 2, at 8pm, and opening is set for Saturday, August 3, at 8pm. Under Milk Wood will play through August 24 only at the Greenway Court Theatre in Hollywood.
