All the while, our wily and multiple identity-sporting storyteller keeps us on a track that feels like the “Shrek” universe on an acid trip. But really, this is a story of kindness and what we’ll sacrifice for love. Sometimes stories exist just for the sake of telling stories.

With their new production of ‘Spy Academy & The Lost Treasure of Atlantis’ Imagination stage brings interactive theatre directly into the household. Children ages 5+ are invited to participate in an online interactive adventure where they assist Spy Team 7 with a series of puzzles and decisions to help retrieve the heart of the dragon from the wicked Dr. Levinious. Before showtime, adults are instructed in secret, to put together a few household items as well as printing out an instruction packet as props to be used in the interactive performance.
Imagination Stage meets this unique moment with Spy Academy & the Lost Treasure of Atlantis, an immersive online experience for children ages 5+. The show – part escape room, part spy adventure, and part online game – engages children in an interactive performance as meaningful as it is delightful.
From Saturday, December 18 through Sunday, December 27, the Hangar Theatre Company will host a virtual experience, Seasonal Story Jam & Hootenanny. This family-friendly event features holiday music from The Burns Sisters streamed from the Hangar Theatre & Hangar artists performing a variety of both classic and contemporary short stories and poems.
