Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe – once again – invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with “Black Nativity,” an inspirational gospel musical originally penned by poet/playwright Langston Hughes that retells the biblical Nativity story. The music is combined with dance, poetry and narrative to deliver a message of joy, hope and liberation.  

Sister's Christmas Catechism: The Mystery of the Magi's Gold will open Friday, Nov. 25, 2022 at the Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP). The show will run in the Howard Drew Theatre from Nov. 25 through Dec. 23.

The New Group is now presenting their 2022-23 Season opener: Evanston Salt Costs Climbing, by Will Arbery and directed by Danya Taymor. The Mary Moody Northen Theatre has released production photos for These Shining Lives by Melanie Marnich, running through November 20, 2022. These Shining Lives chronicles the strength and determination of a group of women working for the Radium Dial Company. Check out the photos below!

Hosts Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro will walk out to “Sweet Lovin’” by Sigala & Bryn Christopher. Throughout the evening, each couple will perform one final ballroom dance style and one final Latin dance style (that they've not yet performed) as they battle it out for scores and votes in hopes of earning a spot in the finale.

The 38th Adelaide Festival, to be launched this Wednesday 9 November, at Adelaide Town Hall and via livestream offers a total of 52 events in theatre, music, opera, dance, media and visual arts, including major festivals-within-the-festival Adelaide Writers' Week, UKARIA Chamber Landscapes and WOMADelaide – over 17 days and nights from Friday 3 to Sunday 19 March.

New England Conservatory's Contemporary Musical Arts (CMA) program marks five decades of crossing boundaries, pushing limits, and training creative contemporary musicians and artists with a CMA Festival from Saturday, November 12–Thursday, November 17 and a concert honoring Gunther Schuller's legacy on Tuesday, November 22.

George Salazar, Janet Dacal and Maurico Martinez will lead The Who's Tommy in Concert at the FIM Capitol Theatre in downtown Flint, Michigan this month. Performances are set for November 18 and 19, 2022.
