Review: GOOD, Harold Pinter Theatre

From Dennis Nielsen to DJ in Don Juan In Soho, to the murderous vicar in the BBC’s Inside Man, David Tennant seems drawn to playing the antihero. As Professor John Halder, in CP Taylor’s 1982 play GOOD, he captures the moral downfall of an ordinary man who gradually embraces the Third Reich.

GOOD Leads our Top Ten Shows for October

The weather might be cooling, but the West End is heating up. October's theatrical offerings provide an embarassment of riches, with some fantastic shows coming up: from David Tennant as the lead in C.P. Taylor's acclaimed play GOOD to Carrie Hope Fletcher in The Caucasian Chalk Circle at the Rose, to Juliet Stevenson in The Doctor and Elton's John's new musical Tammy Faye.

Rehearsals have begun for Dominic Cooke’s new production of C.P. Taylor’s GOOD, starring David Tennant,  Elliot Levey, and Sharon Small. Further casting includes Rebecca Bainbridge, Izaak Cainer, Jamie Cameron, Jim Creighton, Edie Newman and Lizzie Schenk. Check out photos here!

New Dates Announced For the West End Revival of GOOD Starring David Tennant

C.P. Taylor’s GOOD, starring David Tennant and directed by Dominic Cooke has announced new dates  for 2022 at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The production also stars Elliot Levey (Cabaret at the Kit Kat  Club) and is designed by Vicki Mortimer. Further casting to be announced. 

Sita Mcintosh Appointed Chair Of Kiln Theatre

Kiln Theatre today announces the appointment of Sita McIntosh as Chair. McIntosh was a previous Trustee of Kiln Theatre and will be joining the current Board of Directors: Moyra McGarth Brown, Nicholas Basden, Dominic Cooke CBE, Karen Napier, Shrina Shah and Christopher Yu. Also joining Kiln Theatre as a new Trustee is Louis Charalambous.

BWW Review: THE NORMAL HEART, National Theatre

A fire is ignited as the ensemble gather silently in an act of remembrance. It then ascends high above the Olivier stage, where it continues to burn for the duration of the play. It conjures a feeling of warmth, comfort, and community, echoed by the in-the-round configuration of the extensive auditorium that somehow soon feels intimate.
